Events

The Budaiya pre-School is a community with the school and parents working together to make every child's Pre-School experience a HAPPY ONE. The Budaiya Pre-School actively supports parents in helping to raise happy, independent individuals.  All our staff receive annual CPR / first aid refresher courses and this is also open to parents.

We invite speakers to give talks on child development subjects for example: Encouraging Language development: Developing your child's self esteem.  We have an end of term concert in December to which parents are invited.  We have an Arab themed party to celebrate Gerga'oon in Ramadan.

The Children are also taken on educational outings as part of their theme work. This helps the children put what they are learning into the context of the real world.

A Family Fun Day

We organise family fun days to raise money for charity and special school equipment. In 2005 we donated BD 800 to a Tsunami relief, in 2006 we donated BD 400 to the Pakistani Earthquake victims and BD 400 to the Mother and Child Home Education Program and BD 600 to MOCEP in 2007.

Our adopted charity is the Mother and Child Home Education Program MOCEP and we have donated over BD 6000 from or Family Fun Day over the past years.

 

 

 

Winter Concerts

Music is very important at Budaiya Pre-School we make an extra effort for the children to display their confidence and music ability for parents at our end of term concerts. These concerts are planned around a theme and are very popular with the children and parents.

We also invite parents into school to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day. The children make a craft with their parents and enjoy a sing along together.

Summer Schools

The Budaiya Pre-School normally holds a summer school for children in July / August. Brothers and sisters can also attend.
